Methods of setting special pricing

Method 1: Selling a product at a set price
Option 1: Discount by PRICE
- Set the start date/time and finish date/time for the special. You must enter both the start and finish date for the special to be applied.
- Set the discounted price (Price/item)
This means that the product will be sold at a price of $10 during the special's timeframe.
Option 2: Discount by PERCENTAGE
- Set the start date/time and finish date/time for the special. You must enter both the start and finish date for the special to be applied.
- Set the discount percentage (Disc.%)
This means the products current sell price will be discounted by 50%. if the sell price is $10 then the product becomes $5 during the special's timeframe.

- F9 [Disc Calc key] - a new window will pop (below) which calculates the percentage discount the dollar value represents.
Option 2: Discount by Discount Dollar Value
- Set the start date/time and finish date/time for the special. You must enter both the start and finish date for the special to be applied.
- Set the discount percentage (Disc.$)
This means the products current sell price will be discounted by $5. if the sell price is $10 then the product becomes $5 during the special timeframe.
Method 2: Selling multiple qty's of a product at various discounts
- Set the start date/time and finish date/time for the special. You must enter both the start and finish date for the special to be applied.
- Follow any method listed above in "Method 1: Selling a product at a set price"
- Set price breakpoints
This means if you buy 1 of these products the price will be $10 but if you buy 2 the price per item is $6 and if you buy 3 the price per item is $5.
