Setting product tags in Toniq will flow through to your website, which can then be used for grouping, categories, or product tracking.


NOTE: Removing tags in Toniq WILL ALSO remove the tags from your website.



Individual Product


From the main menu:

  • 2. Stock control -> 3. Stock maintenance -> 2. Maintain product
  • Search for your product, select the stockcard from the list
  • [F11] Next Page (x3) -> Page 4 Online details
  • Second option down is tags
  • Enter your tags, separated by a command & space (e.g. Test, Test2, )
  • [F12] Accept Details



Multiple Products In Bulk


From the main menu:

  • 2. Stock control -> 3. Stock maintenance -> 1. Maintain products in bulk
  • Use [F3] Add to create a new list OR use an existing criteria from the saved criteria list
  • Generate your bulk list, then confirm the list has no unwanted items
  • [F4] Set Other -> O. Online options menu
  • Once you have the online options menu, there is two choices:
    • P Set product tags: This will overwrite any existing tags in Retail with what you enter
    • A Append to product tags: This will add tags to the end of what exists in Retail
  • Enter your product tags, separated by comma
  • [F12] Accept Details -> [F12] Accept Details -> Y. Yes confirm changes to products.
