In order to perform any actions with the Android Toniq Mobile device, staff will need to be configured with a PIN login and the required securities to perform certain functions.


We recommend each staff member to have their own login PIN for using the Toniq Mobile applications, this way their details can be recorded along with certain activities performed such as stock adjustments when reporting.



Maintain Staff

If you would like to manage staff profiles and templates which allow for configuring multiple staff at once rather than individually, please contact the Toniq Support desk for more assistance.


Maintaining staff:

Administration, Maintain staff/workgroups, Maintain staff

Enter surname of staff member, enter, select from list


Staff PIN:

On the second page (F11 Next Page) there is a PIN field, which can be populated with a 4-13 digit pin code for logging into Toniq Mobile. Each staff member


Each staff member will require a unique PIN code entered.


Please note: the staff PIN can ALSO be used to login to other areas of the Toniq program, and should NOT be shared with other staff members


Toniq security cards:
If you are using the PIN field for staff security card logins, these can also be scanned by the device at the login. This function will not be available on regular mobile phones which do not have a built in scanner.

Function: allows live stock updates for medicines


Orders

Staff security required: Stock control - dispensary

Function: allows the user to add or update medicines and desired pack quantity to an existing New or Credit New order

Defer Rxs

Staff security required: Electronic claiming

Function: allows the user to scan (or enter script number) to defer or undefer items from claims

Retail Toniq Mobile Menus

Staff security required: Pocket Toniq stocktaking, or Stock control - retail

Function: allows live stock updates for products


Stocktake - view only option

Function: allows user to scan and view information about a product without being able to update the stock on hand

Function: allows the user to add or update products and desired quantity to an existing New or Credit New order
